The ride takes little more than half a day, but it allows sufficient time to explore Nevers, in which it is worth spending time.

Leave Gannay in a north-westerly direction and continue riding along the D15 through the flood plain of the River Loire with the canal close at hand. The scenery takes over where it left off in the previous stage, with lush water meadows and scattered farmsteads.
